FIFA Ban Chelsea Players Buying

FIFA ban Chelsea just can not buy a new player again. The reason is, The Blues make a purchase of a brand-new player in an illegal way. Really?

"Chelsea are prohibited to register new players, both from domestic to foreign countries too, for two stock transfers to the front," the statement quoted by Reuters FIFA on Thursday (9/3/2009).

FIFA to impose sanctions, after Chelsea's Gael Kakuta proven forced to leave French club Lens and joined the Blues in the 2007 season ago.

"DRC found that the players had violated the contract with Lens. DRC also found that the Chelsea players have been sent relevant to that offense," the FIFA statement.

The result is thus, then Chelsea can not buy players until the upcoming 2011 stock transfers. As for the players concerned, FIFA gave a number of fines and a ban competed for four months to Kakuta.
