Messi European Club Player of the Year

Lionel Messi was chosen as Europe's best players. Agency European Football (UEFA), choose Messi as the best player and best striker after successfully delivering the treble pulled Barcelona in last season's winner.

Argentine striker is set aside Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo. Both met each other in the Champions League final. In addition to Ronaldo, Messi is also competing with a former colleague, Samuel Eto'o.
